OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy helps children with disabilities to benefit from their educational programs. The focus of service is on hand skills, eating, self-care, social skills and play/leisure skills. Services may include assessment to determine strengths/needs; collaboration with teachers, families, students, and others on environmental and material adaptations; and the development of strategies and activities to enhance performance and motor functioning within the educational environment.
