Due to an updated and change in the daily schedule of Safeway bus company prior to running the district 163 routes, there is a possibility that our afternoon pickup may be slightly delayed. Safeway is making efforts to ensure all buses are on time. However If the buses are a few minutes later than usual we will keep parents notified through Thrillshare. Thank you for your understanding.

Just as a reminder this morning , staff and students will participate in a safety drill. As required by Illinois School Code and District 163 Board Policy, the drill will involve the police department to ensure that we are as prepared as possible. Activating the system will instantly alert police or paramedics in the event of a life-threatening emergency. We would love to invite the parents and guardians to visit the school, meet teachers, and learn about the curriculum and classroom expectations. This is a great opportunity for parents guardian to foster communication between the school and parents to get a sense of your child's school environment, the teachers they will be working with, and the educational programs in place. Congratulations to the ladies who showed determination, perseverance, and a willingness to learn which earned them a stop on the 2023-2024 Lady Patriots Basketball Team! Their first game will be held on September 13th. Come out and support.
Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held from 3:30pm to 4:30pm beginning tomorrow, August 29th, and ending on Thursday, August 31st.
On Tuesday, August 29, there will be an informational meeting for students interested in participating in Cross Country. The meeting will be held at door 13 from 3PM to 4PM. Afterschool transportation will be provided.

Students interested in participating in a sport this school year received information and forms yesterday. These forms should be turned in to Mr. Lawlor, Athletic Director. Students participating in a sport must have a current sports physical on file with the nurse's office.
