Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In our journey to nurture well-rounded individuals, it is important to introduce our children to inspirational figures who have shaped our world. One such individual is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose dream of equality and peace continues to inspire us all. Dr. King was a leader who believed in love and fairness for everyone, no matter what they looked like or where they came from. He taught us that we should treat others the way we want to be treated and that using our words and actions for good can make the world a better place. No school on Monday, January 20, 2025

We are focusing on our Math skills this month - here is an easy activity to try at home - Create numeral cards by writing the numerals 1–5 on notecards or small pieces of paper. Turn the cards with the numeral face down and mix them up with your child. Ask your child to turn the cards over one-by-one, name the numbers, and then line them up in the correct order. If they can name 1- 5 start with 6- 10 and keep going- the sky is the limit for Algonquin Prek Littles - No stopping us!!

This week, we are working hard on our writing and math skills - Even though this is only our second day back from break, we are working hard- There is evidence of greatness all around !!!

Today at our preschool, the holiday spirit was truly alive as our little ones gathered for lunch in their adorable Christmas attire! The room was a joyful sight, with children donning bright red Santa hats, sparkling elf hats, and headbands adorned with reindeer and snowflakes. . Moments like these capture the magic of the season, reminding us of the simple joys and the warmth of togetherness. Happy holidays from all of us at Algonquin ! 🎄✨🎅

An elf visited our teacher lounge at Algonquin Prek Center today with CANDY 🍫 🍭 for all of our amazing teachers! He even stole some prek little’s art work off the wall for a hat !
