This is a reminder to join us for our Character Day Parade tomorrow. Please wear no scary or gory costumes. The all-school parade will start at 9:30 AM and again at 1:30 PM, followed by fun and games in the classrooms. If you can, bring a bag of candy to share.

District Tour - Tomorrow, Join us for a tour of Mohawk, Barack Obama, and 21st Century schools. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit classrooms and see what’s new! Tour Schedule: 8:30 AM: You may board the district bus at 21st Century School - 242 S. Orchard, Park Forest, IL 8:45 AM: Mohawk Primary Center - 301 Mohawk Street Park Forest, IL 9:45 AM: Barack Obama School of Leadership and STEM - 401 Concord Drive, Chicago Heights, IL 10:45 AM: 21st Century Primary Center - 240 S. Orchard, Park Forest, IL Fall Festival - Friday October 25 - We will also host our Fall Festival for students at Algonquin, Mohawk, 21st Century, and Blackhawk Schools. Students in kindergarten through grade 3 will be bussed to 21st Century for this event. Students are welcome to wear character or school-appropriate costumes if they choose. We will return to school by 11:15 AM for lunch and 1/2 day AM pickups. 1/2 day PM Families ONLY—Drop off at Freedom Hall from 11:45 to 12:15. We will provide a sack lunch outside before the 12:15 PM performance! We will be back at Algonquin by 1:15PM. Looking forward to a great day !!

We are excited to share that the Ronald McDonald Mobile Care Clinic will be at Michelle Obama School on Friday, October 11, 2024. This mobile clinic is open to all District 163 Families and is by appointment ONLY. You must complete the Patient Agreement and Authorization form and return it to your child's health office by Tuesday, October 2, to secure an appointment. Hello, this is a reminder from School District 163 that Tuesday, September 10, 2024, is an early dismissal day. Students will be served lunch and will dismissed at 12:30 pm. Pre-Kindergarten will be dismissed at 10:45 am and there will be no afternoon classes. All buses will depart at 12:30 pm.
