Mrs. Rowland's students participated in a 100th day popcorn party...complete with popcorn phonics, making the number 100 with popcorn, and participating in a fun science experiment where they were able to watch popcorn "dance." What a way to celebrate 100 days of learning!

Ms. Davis's students learned all about Rosa Parks today and created buses of their own. As Rosa Parks once said, "Each person must live their life as a model for others." Thank you, Ms. Davis, for being a model for your students.



I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Pets" aloud to Ms. Davis's students this morning. I was even able to learn about their personal pets (including 3 lizards!!!).

Ms. Davis's students made dog puppets after reading "Harry, the Dirty Dog" as part of their Pets unit. Excellent job, friends! Keep up the great work.

Mrs. Rowland's students marked the number of boxes on their graphs to represent the number of animals that were rolled on the picture cube. What a fun, mathematical way to continue the unit on Pets. Excellent job, friends!

Ms. Davis's students made predictions as to whether or not Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow tomorrow on Groundhog Day! Will we have a long winter ahead, or will spring rapidly approach? We'll see what happens tomorrow!
