Tomorrow- Tuesday , November 14 is Fall Picture Day !! Remember to smile !
There is NO SCHOOL from November 20th-24th. Parent-Teacher Conference will be held on November 20th and 21st. Fall Break is November 22nd-24th. School and District Office hours will resume Monday, November 27th. Please see flyers for more details!
Hello Algonquin families! This Friday is our "Falling into Fall" playgroup. If you haven't already done so please send your RSVP in by this Wednesday, November 15th. Also please check off if you will be taking your child with you following the playgroup. See you all soon.
Algonquin Families- Help us share kindness on World Kindness Day - Monday, Nov. 13 click the link https://5il.co/28nan to print a picture to color, send a video of you and your child thanking their teachers to 708-264-2254. We will also send a printed picture to color in backpacks tomorrow and return to school on Monday. Let's show our staff kindness!
Algonquin was excited to see our families learning and playing together at our Fall Scavenger Early Childhood Network Activity today. We hope you can join us for our next family playgroup on November 17 at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Thank you to our Family Educators and Mrs. Mazzarona for hosting and helping this Scavenger Hunt!
Today was bus evacuation drill day at Algonquin Pre-K center! All classes had a chance to go out to the bus and learn how to be safe. We even got to practice sitting and sliding out of the back door of the bus. Being safe is at the top of our list every day!

We made the best of our unplanned fire drill today by meeting our amazing Park Forest Firefighters! Thankfully it was a false alarm !

Guess what Algonquin Pre-K scholars are learning about! As I walk the hallways, I can see evidence of building vocabulary, math classification skills, demonstrating fine motor strength and coordination and so much more!!
Save the Date- Algonquin Pre-K Center's Fall Fest is October 31. Our littlest #163 learners can come to school that day dressed as their favorite storybook character and have fun at our Fall Fest. Family volunteers and families are invited to attend! See the flyer for more information and times!
