Turn to your neighbor & say, “NACHO Party!!” We had a cheesy good time rewarding our scholars with a nacho party for their great behavior today! Next up is our “Minute to Win It Challenge” for those who have great behavior starting today through March 31st! That means no referrals/behavior infractions for the rest of March in order to qualify! Let’s encourage our scholars to make good choices to close out our month of March Gladness!!

Thank you for all of you who came out to support all the beautiful children of 21st Century at our Black History Program! They did a phenomenal job displaying our culture through song, dance, and poetry. We indeed persevere!

We hope all of our scholars are enjoying their break. March is here & we want to reward our scholars for having great behavior when they return. Please encourage & remind your scholars of the expectations & see the flyer for details on how they can qualify to earn a party for their great behavior. Good Afternoon families. On Tuesday, we had our awards assembly. The awards that were given out were the Principal Award, Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll, ROAR Award, and Academic Improvement. Congratulations to all of 21st Century students.

Good afternoon parents. Today was our student of the month assembly with an emphasis on empathy. Congratulations students for a job well done!


Good Evening, as we are all processing the tragic event that occurred this past Friday, staff and students alike will process Friday's events in different ways and will show their feelings in a variety of manners. Attached is a flyer that has been provided by the University of Illinois Urban Youth Trauma Center entitled, 'Helping Youth after Community Trauma: Tips for Educators". This one sheet flyer will may help guide your conversations with your children this week. Our staff will utilize various resources to ensure that our students feel safe and supported. Additional support and resources will be provided throughout the district. Resources will also be available on our District 163 Webpage under the Special Services tab.
