Families: You are invited to attend Mohawk's Science Fair this Friday, April 21st anytime between 1:30-2:15 PM. Please note: This will be a "walk-through" event. You will have an opportunity to walk through the main hallway to view the K-2 classroom Science Fair projects as well as walk through the gym to view the 3rd grade students' individual projects. You may come/go as you please between 1:30-2:15 PM.
Congratulations to 52 Mohawk students whose families completed the "Golden Ticket" challenge for our fundraiser and earned prizes. Shout out to Konnor, a 2nd grader who was the first student to win a mini fridge stuffed with cash! We have three more mini-fridges stuff with cash, a $250 Amazon gift card, and many other prizes to still give away. Families have until May 4th to submit contact information for family/friends and collect donations.
Families: All students attended a PoP STEAM fundraiser kickoff assembly at Mohawk this afternoon. They will be bringing home the double-sided GOLDEN TICKET information sheet (which is also pictured and can be accessed via the links below) from school today. We will start giving away PRIZES tomorrow!!!

3rd Grade Families: On Tuesday, April 25th, all 3rd grade students will have an opportunity to "step up" to 4th grade by visiting Barack Obama School of Leadership & STEM, touring the school, meeting 4th grade teachers, and learning more about where they will attend 4th grade for the 2023-2024 school year. Permission slips were sent home before spring break. We look forward to "stepping up" to the next grade level later this month.
Shout out to all of the families who completed the 5Essentials survey; we had over 215 students celebrate at our pizza, popcorn, and movie party this week!
Mrs. Hybert's kindergarten students are enjoying their fruits and vegetables that are delivered to Mohawk each week. They are trying new foods and expanding their pallets.
